We are thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the Better with Horses program for women veterans, which will begin in March 2025. This transformative program offers participants an opportunity to connect with horses in a safe, supportive environment, helping them build resilience, process their experiences, and develop skills for emotional well-being.

Here are a few key details about the program:

  • Eligibility: Women veterans in the Santa Barbara community and surrounding areas.

  • Program Dates: Online onboarding begins March 1, 2025, and horse sessions/30-, 60-, and 90-day online check-ins will follow from March 20 to May 23, 2025.

  • Cost: Fully funded through donations, ensuring no financial barriers for participants.

Honor Flight Central Coast California

Our Mission is to honor all of America’s veterans by taking them to Washington D.C. on their “Tour of Honor” as our guests. Once there, they can visit and reflect at their memorials which have been built to honor their service.

We encourage all Central Coast veterans to submit an application. Applications are prioritized on when the veteran served and then when we receive the application. WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam Vets currently have priority. Ladies, do not miss out on this opportunity.
