She Raised Her Hand was initiated by the Santa Barbara County Commission for Women. The partners in this effort recognize the need to develop community for women veterans. National data illustrates the differences in experiences between veterans, based on gender. Through networking, learning, mentorships, and community partnerships, She Raised Her Hand shines a light on the contributions of and value within the women veterans throughout Santa Barbara County.
